I dont know when I will post again after this morning, as I am going on retreat this afternoon. I am definitely looking forward to setting aside time to work on me. My wife isn't jazzed about me being gone, she never is. That's just part of our deal I guess. I know that for me to be at my best, I need occasional time to myself and in a marriage with a kid and busy job, that time is tough to come by. And besides that, I've always been a proponent of taking a weekend once a year or so (hell, I'd take a retreat 4 times a year if I could pull it off, lol) to do some "spiritual heavy lifting."

So, if I am offline for a couple days, that's what's up. I'll be back home Sunday around 1pm. We're going to a really kool symphony concert Sunday afternoon with my dad and step mom. An orchestra from a larger city is going to perform a concert of mostly Mozart works in a big giant Catholic Church in the next town over. They fill the place with hundreds of candles and as it gets dark outside they light the candles as the concert progresses. The church is this beautiful gothic monsterous church and it will be an amazing experience! It will be an awesome way to wrap up what should prove to be a weekend filled with the sunshine of the spirit.
