morning has broken!

Whew, can you say early riser? Ian woke up at about 4:45, said he was scared, so I laid with him for a few mins and then tried to go back to bed. But, it was enough time for the committee to call an early session and there I was, lying in bed, thinking... So, I got up and here I am, awaiting the comforting beeps of the coffeemaker!

I am probably going to be might tired tonite at RCIA class... not much I can do about that lol! I have one thing to be excited about this morning (besides coffee) and that's the fact that I can post before dAAve! Actually, I have plenty to be excited about. I have a lot going on at work, and a strong desire to have more! I have to get these three purchase deals closed before month end if possible, and this week I need to prepare for that construction/building lot "open house" on Sunday. It's also getting exciting from the standpoint that, hopefully, if all goes well, by month end, I should be able to amass a little bit of a pile of money that should enable me to then begin to dig out of the "investment in a new business" hole I find myself in. That will feel good! We'll see what happens, all I can do is what's before me, do the next right thing, be of service and keep my expectations and my "rights" outta the way!

prayer for the day....

God/HP, thank You for keeping me sober yet another day! I love the gift of a new day, unspoilt by my own selfish designs and worries. Help me carry an attitude of service and gratitude through my day today. Please help me to remember that I am here to do Your Will, not to seek my own selfish ends. I pray for Your Blessing and Your Will for those who are struggling through life, for my sponsee D, for MC's boy and my friend Mark's boy, and all the others serving our country. I am grateful to them and to their families for the sacrifices they make for our country. I also pray for my family and friends,e specially my wife and son, that they may come to know the Peace and Grace You have shared with me on a daily basis.

peace to you all...

I hate when my committee to call an early session. When Sam was little and woke up all during the night, the committee went into overtime.

You should fire your comittee.

You know, I think Ian is so blessed to have a dad like you.

I get it with the scared child. Reid is ten and I swear he is going to be the next Stephen King. He scares himself more and more each year!

Beautiful Prayers~
