odds n ends

Geeze, I wish there were more hrs in the day, lol. It's early Saturday, and here I am at the office. It's in the same town as the jail meeting I hit on Saturday mornings so I figured I would bop in for some work then off to the meeting. Things continue to get busier each passing day here at work, which is a good thing! Thankfully, unless I have to meet a customer, I am home each nite by 6pm at the latest. I am really having a ball with this new office and everything and it's really starting to gain momentum. It's really pretty exciting (if you're into that sort of thing). The main thing now, is to keep the momentum going, continue tormeind myself hourly, daily, that I am here (yes, to make $$) but to be of service to HP/God and those around me. Thata means, neighbors, family, customers, friends, strangers, AA's... whoever!

Now that I have RCIA each Tuesday (I am really enjoying all that I am learning about the Church and about myself, OMG, I had noo idea....), home group on Wed, swing band every other Thursday, Jail mtg on Sat mornings.... I think my wife is getting stressed a bit, what with having more time (than just while I am at work during the day) alone with the wild man and Cosmo, lol. It's a tall task to hang out with those two all day, but especially since she is 48, almost 49. That's a little tougher, raising a kiddo at that age (and no, I aint age bashing...). Hell, I know how tired I can get, and I am 38. So, I can only imagine how she must feel. So, if y'all got an extra prayer in the bullpen, toss one her way lol. I try to always "take over" with Ian when I get home, and spend pretty much all my "not at work/outside the home stuff" time with Ian (or we all do stuff together) so she can get a break (beside the fact that I really dig hanging with him... I dunno what else to do other than that...

Prayer for the day...

God/HP, thank You for giving me the gift of sobriety yet again today. I know that my life is for nothing if I lose my reliance upon You and upon AA for my sobriety. Everything that is good in my life today isdependant upon staying in the sunlight of Your Spirit and staying sober. God/HP, help me to be a good dad and husband, to continue to be of service round the house and with Ian, so my wife can catch a break... I pray for Your Will and Grace for her, that she may maybe not feel so overwhelmed, tired, beat, etc on a daily basis. I pray that You may show me how to do better, and that I am be open to Your revelations... God/HP I also ask your blessings specifically for my AWOL sponsee, that he may be finding You somewhere in his life, and that he's at peace with himself, his wife and his family.

peace to y'all...

Enjoy your day, your weekend with work and family.
You'll never get to experience this day again, so get all you can from it.
