for the first time in awhile...

I get to go to my jail meeting! I have been working so many Saturdays and even some Sundays this year that I have not been able to get over to the jail meeting. It will be nice to go today, I really miss it. It occurs to me also that this is about the time of year I began going to this jail meeting 10 yrs ago. Wow! It feels good to know I have not only been able to carry the message to alot of inmates, but also to have received the help I have received as a result of being at this meeting.

I am pretty excited to be feeding another addiction... My fishkeeping hobby addiction, or in hobby specific terms: Multiple Tank Syndrome. lol I have a 10 gallon set up here in my office, a 20 gallon set up in the living room and now I am in the process of setting up my 55 gallon in the bedroom. I cannot wait to get that big boy going! I will probably blog in greater detail on that at my fishkeeping blog, www.gettingtanked.blogspot.com time allowing.

This is my first full weekend off since Easter! I am enjoying every "non-tie-wearing" moment! Last nite I took Ian to the fish store, today I'll hit my meeting, do some fish-related running around, hit the gym and then some friends are headed over tonite for pizza and cardplaying.

Tomorrow it will be an early Mass so I can run Ian to the Y for a kids day thing, then I will be at home working on my tank, watching the race at Talledega... I'll probably bust out the grill and cook up some sort of yummy meat item!!

The trees here are all in full spring bloom, we've mowed a couple times, it's almost time to garden... I LOVE this time of year, spring is definitely my favorite. It makes me think of the miracle of God, the rebirth of things, reneal... all that jazz... I love it!

Well,I had better get moving... I hope y'all enjoy your day! Peace to you all!
