sunday stuff

We sang one of my favorite Hymns at Mass today, "How Great Thou Art..." I love that one.

This will be the second Sunday in a row I'll spend the afternoon with a realtor partner of mine at one of his open houses. It's a great way to get out and meet potential clients, and most bankers don't do it, which differentiates me from my competition. In a small market like mine, that's huge! I've been doing these open houses with realtors since this spring... So far I have closed one deal for a client I met at an open house, and got another one pre approved who's still househunting. It's good to be out there, active and visible, especially in this lovely market.

I'd like to offer a special prayer today to those who are sick and suffering with our awful disease of alcoholism and drug addiction. My brother in-law's daughter is really struggling with alcoholism, cutting, all sorts of fun stuff. So, keep her, her parents and all those people out there sick and suffering in your prayers. I usually ask that they be strong enough and willing enough to reach out and grab God's Grace, that Grace that is freely offered at meetings, churches, hospitals, through friends and loved ones.

God Bless you all, and peace to you all!

I like your idea of working in teh competitive field. One needs to always work to stand out amongst the others.

My thoughts go out to your bother-in-law's daughter. Sge sounds young and that's a terible way to start things out.
