sorry!

I'm terribly sorry I haven't been on to post this weekend, for those of you who've become regular passers by! I've begun my real estate licensing classes and spent the entire weekend in a classroom learning about real estate practices and real estate law. Two ten-hour days down, 11 more to go lol. It was a long weekend, especially since my classes are located in a NE suburb of Columbus and I am 1 hr and 45 minutes west of the class site.

I am pretty well beat, but this will all be worth it once I can get out there and start my real estate business. I am pretty excited. I feel that I have a good, basic game plan, I have been doing my research, got a good broker to affiliate myself with. The classes are a breeze, I have no doubt I will pass the state exam the first time (most people do lol).

I am blessed, my wife has been 110% supportive of this effort, and she's doing everything she can to help out. We're going through a real decent patch here with regard to our marriage and communication. If we were really struggling badly right now, I'd be up a creek, so to speak.

So, tonight's post is a tired one, but a very grateful one. We've got a great opportunity in front of us, something we can work on together. We're behaving well, getting along well. Ian went back to school a couple weeks ago and he's off to a great start. The band gig is going well, we had an INCREDIBLE show Friday night, a memorial for September 11, complete with combined high school bands and a GIANT American flag. The crowd was really into it as we unfurled Old Glory during America the Beautiful, not a dry eye in the house. It gave me goosebumps and choked me up as I announced the show from the press box. It was simply amazing to see those kids, feel all the emotion, see their families reacting.

Talk to you soon, tomorrow is Micro Fiction Monday already!

sounds like you had a great weekend.the classes can be a pain in the neck, but the payoff in passing the tset the first time around is great.I took less time to take the test and scored real good when I took my test.
