catching up on some pics....

It's time to catch up on some photos of our latest adventures... there's the afternoon Ian Cosmo and I went apple picking, there's Haloween, there's our recent trip to Wisconsin... check out my other blog to see the pics...

It's a nice quiet Sunday morning... Time for a bit of reflection before Mass. I am finally taking a little time to get caught up on y'all... just had too much going on lately... I am just so grateful to have this fellowship in my life, to know you people through our blogging and sharing... I know others have their churches for fellowship, work, professional associations. But, I really think that there's only one AA, that there's nothing like the closeness we have between fellow alcoholics and addicts. We're all in the same boat, and no one can truly know what it's like unless they're alcoholic also. So, I am reflectiing on the joy and peace i get from the fellowship, on the rgatitude I have that my family is deply involved in the fellowship, that ym son will have a place to come if he shoudl find himself lost as his mom and I did... I mean hopefully, because of his exposure to AA, he'll be spared that insanity...

Prayer for the day...

God/HP, thank You for the gift of sobriety... Without You in my life I would have nothing meaningful. I know that I have got to remember today that I am an alcoholic/addict and that I have to place my life in Your Hands in order to stay sober and live to good purpose. God, please help me be at peace and listen to Your Word in Church today. Help me take what I heard/will hear in our meeting yesterday and in Mass today and reflect all week, using Your message to serve others and better my own life. I ask for Your Peace, Courage and Blessings in the lives of those who struggle with recovery, are going through a bad spiritual/emotional/physical spot and especially for those serving our country abroad.

peace to y'all, have a great Sunday!!

Go Browns and Go Giants!

And How, that energy resulting from one alcoholic to another is magic. I am amazed how this simple gesture fuels so much life and spirit.

Love the pix. You have many blessings in your life -- and they are cute blessings too!
