planning... but not the outcome

One of the things I've been taught in AA is that it's ok to plan, even necessary to plan. But, it's even more important not to try to plan the outcome! This is a fun time of year in my business. Decemeber slows way down, giving me time to clean things up a bit, get organized, give thanks via Christmas cards to customers and those in my network. Most of all, once the reflection has begun, it's time to plan for the coming year. I've got the business plan out and I am reflecting on progress made and things left undone. I'm putting together goals for the business, and trying to determine how best to meet those goals. I love business planning (once I get over putting off doing it out of fear, lol) because I see it as an optimistic activity. It excites me to take a look at the possibilities in store for me in the coming months. Basically, I am doing my 4th Step in the business, remembering not to let my expectations get out of hand!

SC, I will give that banner stuff a try when I have a chance, I haevn't forgotten. Your help has not gone un-noticed or un=appreciated!

Prayer for the day...

God/HP, thanks to You for keeping me sober another day. I am so grateful to you for the bounty of the past year, for the challenges, the fears and difficulties. I pray that I may keep this attitude of gratitude and develop a better attitude of service to You and those about me. Help me to remeber those less fortunate than I, and those who have difficulties beyond their personal control. I pray for Your Grace for them today and that if I encounter them, that You might use me to do Your work.

Peace to y'all!

Hahahaa, don't worry about the banner. I wish there were an easier way, wait, there actually is. If I have time I will send you the tutorial via quicktime.

It is great to hear that you have a game plan during the slow season. Christmas cards, I love that too!
