When I created my new Google account, in hopes of getting my blog switched voer to the new format, I discovered an AA group thru Google... very kool. If you end up getting a Google account check out the group, it's called Alcoholics, Anonymous. hmm well named, eh?
Yeah, I guess I am just going to have to bite the bullet and go see the chiropractor! I have had back trouble and neck trouble off and on for a long time. I would love to know what it feels like to have full range f motion and no pain! Thanks for the encouragement there!
Well, it's close enough to Christmas that I've made an executive decision and decided to work from home today. It's good to be the boss!! Yesterday, I swear I saw a tumbleweed roll thru my office, and that was my cue to bug on out! It was dead, lol! So, I am on Christmas break! Yee Haww! All I have left to do is get a few cards and put some ribbons and bows on my wife's packages! I think I am well ahead of many men at this point! lol My shopping has been pretty well done for a couple weeks now!
Yesterday morning before I went to the office, Ian's pre-school class had their Christmas Party, complete with a play, and several Christmas songs. Oh man, talk about getting all teary eyed! Ian's role in the little play was "the Kind Ox" he welcomed all the various animals into the stable for the birth of Christ... It was sooo dang cute! Of course, I took a bunch of pics, I will share some of those... It sure was kewl. Our first Christmas pageant lol Sappy parents, we are!
Prayer for the day...
God/HP, thanks for another day sober. Without You in my life, I would be miserable, drunk, high, smoking and doing many other unspeakably bummerific things this Holiday season. Worst of all,I would be all alone! I thank You for giving me the Grace of having a family, friends in and out of AA, a professional opportunity to help others and a place to worship You. Help me to remember the real message of Christmas and to be of service to You and those around me today. Again, I can use some help getting out of myself...
peace to y'all!
