Your Tagged
Megs Rules - Each player of this game starts with the 6 Weird Things About You. People who get tagged need to write a blog entry of their own 6 Weird Things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says you are tagged in their comments and tell them to read your blog!

Ok, tagged my Scout first, then JJ

Weird thing number 1) I have a poor attention to detail, yet I am a mortgage broker, and a pretty dang good one at that, based on my customers feedback.

Weird thing number 2) I was born in 1968, and the music I relate best to was written and performed in the 60's and 70's.

Weird thing number 3) I am an alcoholic/addict, yet never crashed my car or spent a minute in jail (involuntarily, that is).

Weird thing number 4) I can't stand the idea of living in a huge city, but I just LOVE (and miss) Houston.

Weird thing number 5) I keep my desk/office spotless and well organized yet my desk at home is a recurring nightmare. (It's clean and neat right now, let's see how long that lasts)

Weird thing number 6) That I am in sales and in AA, and the sound of my phone ringing pisses me off... GO figure! (must be the "isolater" in me)

And here's one bonus weird thing about me: I cry EVERY TIME I watch Steel Magnolias... EVERY DAMN TIME!

Ok, I had a hard time coming up with 6 things... It's not that I think I am not weird, I guess I was trying to like be the weirdest ever or something...

I'd love to tag 6 people but I everyone I know one here has been tagged... So, I am copping out!

Prayer for the day...

God/HP, thanks for this day sober and relatively healthy! Without You in my life today, I could not stay sober, nor live to good purpose. Thank You for the peace in my heart, the joy in my day, and the ability to really feel alive and a part of the world around me. All my life, I have been a loner, an "isolater." The closer I get to You, the more willing I am to just get out there and live, for this I am truly thankful. I pray for Your Will and Grace in my life, the lives of my wife n son, my family, friends and fellow AAs. I pray tht I may open myself completely to Your Love and Truth, that I may give myself to You completely.

peace to y'all...

Houston is a great city, and it's large, but everyone has a small town mentality. That, sometimes, gets in the way!
