dAAmn You dAAve, making me report in, just like I asked!
Well, there's just no complaining about our weather here. I am praying for those around the country dealing with nasty winter storms... We've been really blessed to have an incredibly mild winter...dAAve, 246.5 this morning, been hovering around 248-249, not much to report. I've been at the Y on a regular basis this month (was spotty thru the Holidays) and I have been feeling goog along those lines. I am trying not to drive myself nuts watching the number so much as focussing on the effort. But, thank you my friend for keeping me honest!Today's Poll: Is it ok to pray for a parking spot, to ask God's help in finding something "up front"?I heard this on my satellite radio this morning on the "Catholic Channel." There were many excellent responses, supporting both sides of the argument. I'll give my feelings on this after everyone who stops by wieghs in. Maybe it would be fun to have a regular little "poll feature" on here. That might make for some interesting reading. Prayer for the day...God/HP/JC, please find me a better parking... no wait Please remove my obsession to drink and drug, to smoke, to focus in upon myself to the point of behaving destructively. I have placed my disease in your hands every day for nearly 11 years and You have never led me astray. For that I am grateful. Please help me to remember that the customers I am working with are counting on me to be accurate, honest and thorough with their financial situation. I am here to be of service to You and to them. I am not here to "simply make money." I pray for Your Will and Grace in the lives of those people affected by the awful winter weather around the country, and for my wife and her efforts to quit smoking. I pray for Your Grace fo rme today that as we approach the Men's Retreat this weekend, I leave my ego at the door and serve You and those attending.peace be with all of you...

Keep up the great work. I know how great exercising can make you feel. It is a euphoria that our bodies need.
Not sure if I understand the pole question. Hmmmmmmm
I do not ask for anything in prayer, I only offer prayers of gratitude for what I have and what I will recieve. I think I would only be thankful that I would be given a princess parking spot if I were picking up someone who would have trouble walking a distance, or some other reason that was not in my interest. I can walk, but I am glad to get a nice spot and if I happen to get such a space then I might offer a thank you.

I heard an interesting take on losing weight. Focus on your waistline, not your weight. Do what you need to do to lose an inch, or 3 or 4 inches. The weight thing will take care of itself.
