Rain, Rain, go away! Wow, we have had a TON of rain this "winter." I think it snowed enough to dust the grass once this year. Now, Seattle and Denver peeps, I ain't complaining... Ok, maybe I am just a little, but only a little. I will take what we've had over what you've had any day. But wow, this has got to be the mildest winter I can remember. I wonder if it has something to do with that snowblower I bought over the summer? hmmm... ('cuz you know know, everything is about me or something I've done, lol)
Happy MLK Day everyone! I love MLK's "I Have a Dream" speech... I pray that someday it will be realized.
I have so much stuff to do that I am going to the office, but I am not going to open. I am going to use today to get caught up on some "support" type work that needs to be done. Hopefully the phone will be relatively quiet today!
Prayer for the day...
God/JC/HP... Help me to stay sober today. Please direct my thinking today, that I might focus less upon my own needs and more upon serving You and those around me. Please help me to stay focussed on the "menial" tasks I have to perform today and help me get through them all before I go home to spend the rest of the day with my family. I pray that I might remember my imperfection today. I pray that I keep that imperfection in perspective. "I am not as good as I think I am, and I am not as bad as I think I am..."
