Well, it's under way, everything is closed, we probably have about 3 new inches of blowing and drifting snow already this morning. They are now calling for 11"-15" by tonite and maybe a couple more before it's over tomorrow. I sure am glad I bought that used snowblower this summer. I have never owned one before and I am glad I do now. I am also grateful that the sleet/ice crap is well to our south. I'd rather have all snow, than have that icy stuff, yuck! Two weeks in a row, RCIA will be canceled... that's a big bummer!
Due to the weather, I'll be working at home today. It will be a good day to hunker down and stay indoors! In fact, I have been needing to "gut" my office here at home and throw stuff out, re organize and downsize... So, I think today will be a great day for doing that!
Prayer for today...
God/JC/HP, please remove my obsession to drink and use drugs today. I pray that I might turn my life over to You today, in order to break free of my self-centered ways. Please guide my thinking and fill my heart with the sunlight of Your Spirit, that I might remember to be of service to those about me. Help me to be a calm, peaceful and loving father and husband to my peeps today.

Hi Scott, thanks for the birthday wishes. I also think its cool that we got sober so close together in time. Sorry to hear you're getting so much snow, but better you than us. Its a mystery this year, normally we get tons of it, but not so far. We have maybe 6-7 inches of it on the ground. Everywhere around us in Ontario they are getting dumped with piles of it. Glad to hear that the icy stuff is missing you. Don't forget to wear your mukluks.
would you hate me if I said it was going to be up to 63 today??? but for some weird reason we're getting all the way down to 32 tonight........... we were in the 70s last week. I don't know how you do it with all that snow! I'd just turn in to a little popscicle!!! Good luck staying warm! Time for marshmallows and hot chocolate!
Staying is not bad after all.
