my hometown

Awhile back, my friend Gene had a great suggestion, that in order to get to know other bloggers better, we each take 10 photos of our home town/area, post them and share about where we come from. So, here's mine...

1.) The sign tells all
2.) Fall foliage
3.) Downtown
4.) Halloween parade down Main St
5.) Main St foliage
6.) The canal
7.) The new lock
8.) The water tower
9.) Our humble home
10.) Winter...

That's my hometown... And, I tag any of you who are willing to do a little series of hometown pics... It was fun!

Cool pics. I don't know why, but I get a kick out of town water towers. Thanks for sharing yours.

These are AMAZING pictures. Wow how homey. I would love to live in a place where nature takes that seasonal form. Here we are always warm, and it gets boring sometimes but I think I will take you up on that offer and explore some of my hometown and share. It will help me appreciate my town even more. Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate and am spoiled by our weather but sometimes I would love to live where there are actually 4 seasons :)

Just want to say thank you for keeping my in your prayers and supporting me during a very vulnerable time. I am blessed with God's Grace and am excited to begin this journey . . .

Have a beautiful day! You ROCK!

Oh ya and those water towers, well I am 31 years old and it was only until March of this year that I have even seen one of those. When Mitch and I were in Chicago those things were everywhere. I was like, "The Aliens have landed!" Crazy, we don't have those here. Heheee.

Love the idea! When I get the chance I'll take some pics and see if you can guess where I am.

That's beautiful. You have a nice hometown - it looks pretty warm and inviting. And that's pretty important esp in the cold months :)

I may just have to take the camera with me one day as I head into town for class.

Thanks for sharing your world with us. I have a big fondness for Ohio. It is good to see it again. Thanks.
