The Holy Father's visit to the US was interesting. The little bit I got to watch included much talk about peace and the Love of Christ... awesome message. I wish the Pope could come more often. I feel as if he helped invigorate Christians in this country to learn more about and practice their faith. I know he invigorated this Christian.

I "attended" another online class with my wife last evening. She's been going through the online webcast series that Oprah's been doing for the past 8 weeks on that book by Eckhardt Tolle. It's really interesting, fascinating even, all this stuff about inner consciousness and the ego and finding peace and your real life's purpose. I am kinda wishing I had gone through the entire series. I am going to try to download all the sessions.

Today's Goal: To be more in this world, and less of this world...

prayer... Heavenly Father, please help me to be at peace today. Help me to remember that I am not what I do, I am not my thoughts or my feelings. I pray that I might remember that I am here to be of service to You and those about me. Please Bless and shine Your Light of comfort on those who need it most, especially those who are sick and suffering with addicitons.

Scott - words of warning. That is so not Catholic. It is Gnosticism and should be avoided. Please do some research.

Adrienne... I've learned some great stuff reading this book and listening to him share on it. It helps my meditation, my peace of mind, and enhances my spirituality quite nicely along with what the Church teaches.

I realize that people get all troubled when they read about such things or read anything that doesn't on the surface appear to bein lock step with what the church teaches... No need...
