it's a great life!

It's been another busy week! My mother-in-law and wife's cousin have been here since Wed, having a wonderful visit.

Ian and I had our 1st TBall/Lob Pitch baseball practice Thursday, it was a BLAST! I cannot wait for next week, our first game!

Fri nite we went out for supper and they went shoe shopping (that got a wee bit long lol).

Saturday was "take everything and anything you can to the trash truck day" here in town, also known as Spring Clean up. That's always a good thing! We divested ourselves of an entire car load of stuff!

And, last nite my wife gave a lead (shared her story, for you non-AA's who visit) at an anniversary meeting in a community about 45 mins away from where we live. She has an incredible, miraculous story... It really is a miracle she's still here, and sober cuz she really put herself through hell... It's truly amazing how she comes out of her shell, and really lights up as she gives the account of her drinking and her recovery. I love going with her to hear her lead... We had a nice evening, first one out alone in months and months...

And today, her family has to get back to West Virginia, I and my little brass group are playing at Mass and then Ian has a cookout with the Cloverbuds (pre-4H kids) and I have to work at an open house with a realtor partner of mine. So, it ought to be a busy day yet again today!

I love my life today. I love how much good stuff we have going on. I love not hiding in the shadows from reality any more. I love not fearing people. I love living today, and I am so grateful to Alcoholics Anonymous and my HP, God/Jesus/HS for all of this.
