off for Christmas!

We're packing to leave for West Virginia in a couple hours so I wanted to drop by and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Whatever special Holiday you may celebrate, may it be a most blessed and peaceful one.

We're all finally feeling better, I managed to get to the gym last nite for a 5K and again this monring for another 5k (mostly walking, let's don't get all crazy yet). I have a goal, to be able to run a 5K this summer, with Kayla (shes a cross country girl, among other kool things). So, I am really excited to be working towards that. We've been texting back and forth quite alot oever the past several days now that she's off for Christmas break so that's been wonderful. What a blessing to have her back in my life.

Things seem to be normalizing again at home. My wife and I are doing the alanon literature/prayer thing so I guess that's helping. I don't know, time will tell. It's definitely a one day at a time thing and I am grateful for a peaceful household and a "cease fire." We'll probably get into the heavy lifting of counseling after the Holidays.

At any rate, I will probably be offline for awhile as we don't return back home until Monday the 28th. We'll be home a couple days then its off to Toledo to visit my family for a few days to do Christmas with them.
