I don't ever recall having allergies during the springtime but man, thisn year has been awful. Headaches, sinus stuff, sore throat, tiredness... Man what a drag this week has been. Combine that with a really busy week and wow, I have been dragging butt lol. I am glad it's Saturday!

We have our first baseball scrimmage this morning, weather permitting. It's supposed to rain and storm but right now, it's just really cloudy. I haven't checked radar. Ian has his First Holy Communion rehearsal this morning, followed by a "Jesus Day" retreat. Then tomorrow will be the big day. We've got my wife's family staying with us, my family will come visit tomorrow.
As much as I love basbeall, I wouldn't mind the rain coming. That will knock down the pollen and hopefully give me some relief. Plus, it has been very dry and we need the rain badly.

I went to the noon meeting yesterday, saw some folks I hadn't seen in awhile. I've just been too dang busy to get to many meetings. That's something I am going to have to change so I don't get too frazzled lol. At the counselor's office (we're doing the marriage counseling thing) Tuesday the gal assigned us homework. My wife has to reach out and connect with someone for an AA sponsor and I have to take more time to get quiet and spend time alone, disconnected from TV and computer and pray more. We've been given opposite assignments but those suit our needs. She retreats into herself and gets in trouble that way. I am more extroverted and need to make time to get quiet and connect internally.

It will be interesting to see how this goes for us, with this assignment.
