in the stream (ok, nearly overflowing river) of life...

just a quick check in... busy boy these days, and getting busier, I LOVE it! The new business has really taken off! I am not busier than I can handle, but I am definitely working in that direction, bring it on baby! The music director at Church has asked me to put together the brass ensemble for the Holiday Masses, so that's gonna be fun, and the swing band has a couple gigs over the Holidays. So, that's a blast. RCIA has just been awesome so far, I look forward ot that every Tuesday. And to top it all off, in the midst of this explosion of loans, we're heading up to Madison, Wisconsin Thursday to see our nephew play ball Saturday. This is his Sr yr. so we're getting to an extra game this season. We've been to see him at least one game a yr each yr he has played up there. It's a blast... This time we'll take Ian up there with us, he is so excited! Last year when we went, he had to stay home with Granny... I plan to load my laptop up with a ll my loan files, charge up my cell and work from the car/farm where we're staying and probably a Starbucks in Madison to check emails, lol.
Anyhow, it's just this side of crazy busy, and that's fine with me! It feels good to be living, to be working the principles of AA into my life on a daily basis, to be succeeding at some things, and failing at others, without blowing any of it outta proportion. I just feel real "with it" right now.. balanced... And of course, lol the IBSC is up there trying to trip me up "what if this goes wrong, what if that goes to hell, blah blah blah... HP has me covered, so I don't have to pay the IBSC any mind! Yay God!

Prayer for the day...

God/HP, thank You for my sobriety, my health, the exciting things in my life both positive and challenging. I pray that I can maintain an attitude of service and gratitiude. Heck, maintain? Ok Scott... try develop, lol then maintain... God, I ask Your Blessing and Will in the life of my sponsee who is off doing his thing. I pray for my friend Tracy who is sick in the hospital not well at all, for Amy who has this awful brain tumor thing going on, for our troops and their families, for my family, that I may be an agent of peace, love, tolerance and patience (wow, theres a tall order...) in their lives... I pray for those fighting the big C, and of course the big A...

peace to y'all...

WOW!!! Sounds SO awesome!! Great to hear you're doing so well! Keep on doing what you're doing and you'll keep on getting what you're getting!!!!

Life with me is super good, I just don't want to talk to much on my blog about it. Court again coming up on Monday and my kiddo is still with me. : ) Hopefully, we'll be done with all the formalities then. Thanks for always checking on me!

BuuuuuuuZEEEEEE beeeeeeeEEEEEE bumbling around in sober land. Who-Hoooo!

And tell your "IBSC" to put a pipe in it. I tell you, my "IBSC" think they are o bunch of Einstiens and Freuds. I tell you, I have to lock them up in their conference room. Little punks.

Take care friend!

I used to spend a lot of time in Madison back in the day. I really mean back, like the 60s. It was so neat back in those radical days.
