gratitude and stuff

Well, I am happy to report that my wife is feeling A LOT better after this root canal than the last one. Thanks for keeping her in your thoughts. Monday morning she goes in for the first of two crowns. So, we're getting clsoer to the end for her... I hate that she has to go through this stuff. So far, I haven't done anything to make it worse lol, wish me luck!

Work has gotten pretty busy, yay! It can still be busier, still got room to grow but things are definitely looking up. I closed two this week, and will close three more in the next 2 weeks or so, and there's even more behind those that are looking like they have a chance. It has taken way longer than normal to get going this spring but at least it's picking up. The trick is to be able to balance the marketing for new business with the processing and closing of current business so I can keep my pipeline looking like a rollercoaster.

I am still shrinking, little by little, I am up to 20 lbs lost. And it kiand surpises me a bit as I missed an entire week due to the garage sale prep and being sick afterwards. Thursday nite was the first time in over a week I got the chance to work out so, I went a little light. but I concluded my workout with 2 3-on-3 half court basketball games, followed by 2 4-on-4 full court games. I probably didn't need the last two games, lol wow! Tonight I am beat tired and I have to get up way early so, no gym for me.

Tomorrow morning I am meeting up with the Optimist Club fellas and we're taking 22 Jr High age kids fishing for a few hrs. Ian is coming with me... It'll be a greattime, I am sure! This is precisely why I joined the Optimists... giving back to the community, helping kids...

My sponsee who "returned" to AA is awol again... (sigh) I want to help this guy so bad, but he has all the answers, and excuses so,I have to let him go and try not to get pissed or nuts over it. I got two pidgeons out there road tesing again... I hate it for them, but there is nothing I can do but pray. So, if you get a chance, have a kind thought for D and J.

Prayer for today...

God/JC/HP... thanks for another sober day, and for a great week filled with lots of work and stress, lol. God, please help me see clearly what it is You want me to do with regard to teaching 8th grade CCD. I spoke with the gal at church and she's really after me to give it a whirl. I pray that I am ready and willing enough to give it a go because I really want to, I am just fearful. Also, please help me to be a good sponsor to those to guys of mine who are hanging round. Help me help them through the Steps, and help me help those two guys of mine who aren't hanging round these days. I pray for Your Will for them, that they might find the courage to rejoin us and find recovery. I pray that they somehow stay safe. Thank You God for helping my wife get through this dental stuff a day at a time. We have a ways to go, but so far so good, thanks. And, thanks for blessing us with some business... Thanks for helping me have faith that things would begin to turn. Help me decide and hopefully find the time to help my friend out in his business. I could use some extra cash and he is hurting for some extra weekend help.

peace be with you all... thanks for coming by!

I am totally grateful to those that go out and come back, like they do the experimenting for me. I need to keep hearing how unglamorous it is out there. And it keeps me praying for others.

Glad you are feeling better and that business is promising.

I'm glad work is looking up for you.

I hope your sponsees start getting the program. I've now been around 18 months, and it breaks my heart watching people going out. I can't imagine what it's like as a sponsor.
