full plate!

Well, I got the sponsor lined up so, we're good there... And we've found a wonderful place to work the 12 Steps... the golf course! We ought to be able to get a good deal of step-work /discussion handled over an 18 hole round, lol! Now, if there were only some time available for golf!

Work has been insane the past couple of weeks. Most of it is the good kind of insanity, lots of loans to work on, lots of customers to talk to, etc. But, there is a collection of customers in my pipeline that are very "needy" when it comes to asking questions and making ridiculous demands so, as annoying as that can be, it does sort of play into the fact that in prayer, I have been asking HP to help me remember to be of maximum service first. He's giving me plenty of opportunities.

oooh, coffee just went off, brb :-) aahh first sip o' coffee!!

ok, where was I? Work... yea, crazy! My company is working on some things to help stop or at least slow the rate of foreclosures in Ohio. They have established a foreclosure task force in Columbus and they are working on getting similar groups started in various counties throughought the state. I am getting a group of people together in my county to start one here. We're basically go to work on educating the public andhelping people who are behind on their payments, but not yet in foreclosure. Also, I think we need to work to educate the professionals in our community on how to take better care of customers to help avoid the problem in the first place. It's all in the planning "thinking out loud" stages now but, there's a few professionals around town who are really excited about getting it going. I know I sure am. It will be a great opportunity to help people in our community and improve the economy and the housing market.

Prayer for today...

God/JC/HP, thanks for Your gift of sobriety yet again today. I have laid my addictions at your feet and You have lovingly picked them up and replaced them with a Cross I can bear. God, please help me determine if the religious education is a good vocation for me. I need to let the gal at church know what my intentions are. My biggest fear is probably that I don't know enough about the faith to teach it (and of course, the time commitment). I pray today that I might work on my acceptace of my wife, and that I might not add to her difficulties. please help me to "detach with love" and allow her to be where she needs to be, without reacting or judging. I know that it is not a requirement for me to give away my serenity over someone else's stuff.

peace be with you all!

lol enjoy your coffee and your morning.

The task force project sounds pretty cool deal. Nothing like boosting the community and local economy, eh?

And thanks a lot, bud. I'll take all the prayers I can get.
My algebra course is already giving me a minor stroke - gah! But I am having a great time.

The coffee sounds good - even though it is evening here and I only have one cup in the morning. I would be up all night if I had some now.

I am glad that business is good despite your needy clients.

You sound well. I think the foreclosure project sounds like a project well worth the time.
