I was up at 4:30 am, and on the road for a day of training in Columbus... This outfit sure does put a major emphasis on well-trained employees! And well, I can't say that's a bad thing but it does take away from time that could be spent producing! But, the training was useful, relevant and I actually feel somewhat recharged so, yay!
I went to my home group for the full hour for the first time in weeks tonite. I have been teaching religious ed each Wed nite and it means I am late to home group. The way things worked out, I was able to attend the entire meeting, very kool! A former sponsee collected his 6 month token this evening and is back from being wherever he was. yay!
An additional treat, a friend of mine in AA, I've met blogging took a moment and called me tonite, outta the blue! That was wonderful! I always enjoy hearing from sober friends, especially to hear that they are hanging in there and doing well! This is good!

Thanks God for all Your blessings, I know that without You in my life, I couldnt stay sober, nor live to good purpose. Thank You for Your Son, for my family (insane as is all can be), for a good job with a strong company, for good friends, and goofballs who insist on plaguing my blog with venomous drivel. Thank you for tolerant, patient bloggers who continue to come visit me here regularly! I love you guys!
peace be with you all!

Meeting sober people like you make all the difference. Some people don't even qualify for the moniker of goofball. I like goofballs.
Sobriety is a mindset, a way of living. I like being able to see other people being good to others and themselves. You set a good example, Scott.
We really should talk - about the "goofball"...
