healing...

takes many forms...

This one is going well, but of course, nto quickly enough. I still cannot sit but at least I got ym work laptop back from tech. It went down, the night beofre my surgery last week so I was unable to do anything on my loans. At least now I can stand and work at home lol.

This has been a humbling experience. But, according to the home health care nurse, it's healing very well. I see the surgeon Monday afternoon. I am trying to keep my expectations realistic, but God I want this to be over with.

I have had time to sit and contemplate my life. We're really hurting money-wise, with a big tax bill due next week, and now some big medical bills right around the corner. But, we're close as a family, my wife and son have been great through this stuff. So, really in my estimation we're quite wealthy. We'll get through the money crunch, we always do it's just scary as hell.

I havent been much into bloggage lately which is wierd. I figured I'd be on here daily. But, I cant sit and standing all day is no good either lol.

I have not been able to go to Mass for a couple weeks, and will miss the entire Easter Celebration, that has me bummed out. So, I have been doing a little reading, and praying to try to stay close to God during all this. I cannot wait to get back to Church and celebrate the Mass, and receive the Holy Eucharist.

Meetings have been non existent but there's no worries there, other than missing the fellowship. My bro Steve in Wisc called the other day, will be giving him a shout back over the weekend. And, the comments and prayers here have been nice, thanks.

This too shall pass, just not quickly enough.

Scott, one time I had to miss the whole Easter season, and lots of meetings, and a Messiah peformance. You know, of course, what I found--that Easter, the Messiah, and lots of meetings got along quite well without me! And then I think that became the hardest part of the illness, the realization that: It ain't all about ME, ME, ME!

Happy Easter to ya, Scott. Glad to read you again after nearly a week!
