Whew, it's chilly again this morning with another heavy frost. It's that time of year where we have temps in the low 30's to start the day, plenty of sunshine to warm us up into the 60's. It's what I like to think of as "near perfect" weather. It's classic "Chamber of Commerce" weather!! Does that mean I can take credit for it? I did after all need good weather for our weekend Holiday Open House promotions going on around the area lol!

Yesterday, I spoke at length with my son's former teacher (the gal who is looking for help for her son). Their situation sounds like so many I've heard over the years. I feel badly for them all, having to find a way to deal with the insanity of a young person's alcoholism. I promised her I would call him and make a connexion. I left him a message last evening, hopefully he'll call and we can meet up for coffee or something. In the mean time I strongly emphasized the benefits she and her husband will get, should they decide to hit some Al-Anon meetings. I gave her the times and locations of a couple nearby meetings, she sounded like she might go. The saddest part of all this is the the 3 yr old grandson of hers... His daddy is struggling big time and he's in for some upheaval and insanity until daddy gets into recovery mode. I pray for that little boy most earnestly, along with his dad and the rest of the family.
