Another Friday morning is upon us already. Last night the forecast was wrong, it didn't rain or storm and we were able to play ball. The Cubs are now 3 wins, no losses! That's pretty kool! The boys are showing signs of progress on their fundamentals and they don't give up when they are down. This has been really fun.

Today I will continue the task of consolidating stuff, throwing old stuff away, sorting and packing at work. We move our office into the new building in three weeks and I have still got plenty to do, including the normal business of the Chamber. This next 6 weeks is going to be ludicrous lol.

I'll make the noon meeting today, as I have no appointments or meetings planned. Today is a "hibernation" day where I crank through paperwork, phone calls, emails, website, facebook and twitter updates and of course preparing to move the office. I like days like this because I can get alot done AND I can get some good contact with AA and alcoholics. It's good for this alcoholic to reamin "in touch" with the fellowship and the program of AA.

We had another marital counseling session yesterday, that went well. We're improving, learning how to better communicate and deal with each other's moods and so forth. This has been very beneficial, to be able to sit and talk in the relative "safety" of a closed office with a professional. I'm glad we have begun working on our marriage. We certainly let things atorphy and there are skills we never have developed when it comes to communication. It's better but we've got a ways to go, a day at a time. Today I am just grateful.

A bunch of good stuff! I have been in the same office for six years now. I am going to have to go in on a weekend and clean it out - it is becoming a nightmare.

It's always cool to be a Cubbie.
Happy to hear, "you're moving on up."
With your feet on the ground.

I'm glad you are making progress on your marriage. Early on in our marriage my husband and I went for couseling. We didn't know how to argue. I would scream and yell and he would stop talking for a week. We actually learned how to fight constructively. It's an invaluable too! Have and awesome weekend and that's very cool about the cubs!
