Friday Flash 55 (fiction)

Each week, we select a photo as muse, and construct a fictional tale in 55 words or less for your consumption. My good friend Mr. Know-It-All G-Man is the host of this little prompt writing exercise. So, stop on over and visit his blog to see what this is all about!

My Wife constructed this little fellow "TJ" and my Son named him. He is a skateboarder, made of pumpkins. It was raining when I took the pic, hence the bumbershoot. Our little town holds an annual Pumpkinfest, thanks to the folks 'round here that grow giant pumpkins. Folks around town build these little pumpkin people and it's loads of fun!

"TJ grins from ear to ear, his disposition not quite austere.
He skates at night when no one can see,
then stands fixed by day mocking you and me.
She built him, clothed him, brought him to life.
I think he even kissed my wife!"

LOL! I love his bright white smile.
He looks so happy. It's like he's saying "I have no legs, but that's ok; I kissed this guy's wife!"

Thanks for doing Friday 55. :)

Mine's been posted here since last night, but it's taken me this long to visit and leave comments. Sorry about that.
